The Zone Championship is the first representative step for an individual to compete for their centre on the pathway to the Little Athletics State Championships. Athletes aged U7-U17 are eligible to compete.

The cost of entry is $25 per athlete, this fee is to be paid to your centre. Entries close 17th November.

U7 athletes do not progress beyond Zone. The first 4 places from U8-U17 can progress through to the Little Athletics Region Championships held in Tamworth on 3/4 February 2024.
U8 athletes do not progress past region.

The Region Championship is the qualifying event into the State Championship where the first and second athlete from each event automatically qualify. The next best 8 times from the remainder of results from across the state will also qualify into the State Championship making up a total of 24 entrants per each individual event.
