As the holiday lights twinkle and the scent of summer barbecues fills the air here on the beautiful Coffs Coast, I wanted to take a moment as your Club President to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a joyful festive season. What a year it's been filled with personal bests, team triumphs, and those unforgettable moments where we've cheered each other on from the sidelines.

At the heart of our club is something truly special: our families. Whether it's parents lacing up sneakers alongside their kids for a fun run, siblings high-fiving after a relay, or grandparents beaming with pride from the stands, athletics has a magical way of bringing us all closer. This year, we've seen families grow stronger through shared training sessions, laughter filled events, and the unbreakable bonds formed on the track and field. It's these connections that make our club more than just a place to compete it's a second home where everyone belongs.

As we gather with loved ones this Christmas, let's cherish the simple joys: a beachside picnic, a game of backyard cricket, or just unwinding after a busy year. May your homes be filled with love, laughter, and perhaps a few well deserved rest days from training! And to our youngest athletes, keep dreaming big Santa might even leave some new running spikes under the tree.
