Eduardo’s Triumph at the Oceania Masters Athletics Championship

Last weekend, Eduardo, a dedicated member of the Coffs Coast Athletics Club, showcased his passion and prowess at the Oceania Masters Athletics Championship in Brisbane. Competing against top master athletes, Eduardo embraced the opportunity to push his limits and connect with others who share his love for track and field.

Eduardo competed in four events: the 100m (14.12s), 200m (28.65s), javelin throw (37.77m), and shotput (9.31m). His standout performance came in the 100m, where he achieved a personal best, and in the 200m, where he qualified for the final, finishing just 0.09 seconds shy of his personal record. These results reflect Eduardo’s hard work, determination, and the exceptional support from our Fast Track Feet Athletics squad.

“Every competition is a chance to test what you’ve been training for and to connect with others who share the same passion for track and field,” Eduardo shared. His achievements highlight the rewards of consistent training and the vibrant community spirit within our club.

We invite local master athletes to join the Coffs Coast Athletics Club and experience the benefits of regular training, including improved strength, mobility, agility, speed, and coordination. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or new to the sport, our supportive Fast Track Feet squad welcomes you to pursue your athletic goals with us.
